The Rockin Brews Marathon combines running with 2 of America’s Favorite things, Craft Beer & Live Music. The event is designed for groups, individuals, and serious competitors. There is a Marathon, Half Marathon, Half Marathon Walk (timed), and a 5K Run. The Finish Line Festival features ciders, beer,(21+) and live music.
The course follows paved paths and tree-covered streets along the shores of beautiful Lake Monona, providing cooler temperatures throughout 75% of the course. Runners will view the beautiful skyline of Madison, WI, and run under the Frank LLoyd Wright Monona Terrace. Marathon participants will loop the Half Marathon course twice which allows them to drop off at 13.1 miles if weather conditions are less than perfect or for any other reason.
All participants will receive an official Rockin Brews race shirt, a cool finisher medal, and free entry into the Finish Line Festival.
The Rockin Brews Marathon is a Boston Marathon Qualifier. The Marathon & Half Marathon are USATF Certified Courses.
We have partnered with the Taste Of Madison to keep your weekend ROCKIN. Our participants who also attend the Taste of Madison, will receive a free 16 oz beer, single pour wine, bottled water, or a bottled soda at the Taste.
Join us Labor Day weekend, August 31st and September 1st in downtown Madison as we celebrate the largest picnic on Capitol Square. Taste of Madison presented by Badgerland Chevy is an admission FREE non-profit event that features 80+ food vendors, a variety of beverage options, and live music entertainment all day.
