Course Medical should pick up their volunteer shirts, safety vests, two-way radio and trauma kit on Saturday in the Finish Line Festival Tent.. You can report to Missy at the Volunteer Check-In Tent before 7:30am.
MILE 8, AID STATION #4 – 8am-1:00pm
Report to the Mile 8 Aid Station across the street from 2001 Yahara Place (look for the relay exchange flag and the aid station volunteers). You will assess and treat runners who need non-emergency assistance. If they need to be taken to the finish line, radio the Race Director. If it’s a medical emergency, radio the
on-course EMTs or call 911. Your Trauma Kit will include, splints, a stethoscope, blood pressure
cuff, tourniquets, disposable thermometers, a folding chair, and instant cold compresses.
FINISH LINE – 9:30am-2:00pm
Report to the Finish Line at Nichols Rd & Healy Ln, in front of the tennis courts and community pool. You should assist runners with non-emergency first aid inside the Medical tent. Your Trauma Kit will include, splints, a stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, tourniquets, disposable thermometers, instant cold compresses, and zero gravity loungers in the tent. The Monona EMTs will have their ambulance parked next to the tent.
