Yes, the course opens at 8:00 am and closes at 2:00 pm. If you have not finished your event by 2 pm, our road crew will hand out maps to guide you back to the finish line as they continue removing cones, barricades and signage. Official Race Times end at 2:00 pm.

You can pick up your bib, shirt and timing chip between noon & 6:30 pm.

If you pre-paid for Race Day Packet Pickup, you can pick up your shirt, bib & timing chip on Saturday from 6:30-7:30 am.

While we discourage headphones, we also understand the importance of running to your playlist. Because a majority of the course is on bike paths and low traffic residential streets, we do allow them. Please be aware of your surroundings if you do wear headphones.

Full marathon participants must be at least 13 years old and accompanied by a legal guardian. Half marathon, half marathon walk and relay marathon participants must be at least 12 years old and accompanied by a legal guardian.

Every participant who finishes withing the 6 hour course limit will receive a medal.

No, due to the distance of the course and possible weather issues, strollers are not allowed on the course. Strollers are allowed on the 5K course but must start at the back of the chute.

For the Full Marathon, you can run with 3-6 people, for the Half Marathon, you can run with 2-3 people. Each member can run in any order as long as the last runner has the bib with the timing chip attached and the slap bracelet on their wrist.

The Packet Pick Up on Friday in the large tents, across the street from the start line, near the corner of Healy Ln & Nichols Rd, Monona, WI 53716. On Saturday, you can pick up your bib, timing chip and race shirt at the same location, if you pre-paid for Race Day Pickup.
